I am currently a grade 12 student at Mary Ward CSS in Toronto, Ontario and I have been designing for approximately 3 years. I am familiar with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and ImageReady. I operate on a Windows PC and am an avid user of my Wacom Fun Tablet which I got last year - quite honestly, I can't remember life without it! I've been the art director of my schools award winning newspaper, the MW Planet since 2007, and I am the editor of the school yearbook.

My favourite art median is definitley digital because I find it is the most adequate way to just have fun with design. Though my style is constantly evolving, I try to keep it as 'daniesque' as possible - not necessarily because I'm a one trick pony, but because I like consistancy and putting a recognizable style to a name. For the most part, my work starts out in Illustrator and is then brought into Photoshop to be finished up although lately I've been doing less vectored stuff, and instead, I seem to be very enthusiastic about combining vectors and illustrations with photo and texture elements.

Besides digital art, I am a fashion junkie. An avid reader of fashion magazines and blogs, I hope to one day combine my love for illustraton, fashion design and journalism and work at a fashion magazine as an art director!
